We have a new to us JD 1590 drill. It has scales and we put on and calibrated an electric acre metre. Been having hard time dialling in seeding rate in spring cereals. Rate goes all over with the smallest adjustments. The drill has the electric actuator for adjusting rate, and today we noticed there seemed to be some play in the pivot point of the linkage that moves the drive shaft with the seed flutes when adjusting rate. Can move the adjustment almost 10 numbers on the scale without moving the seed flutes. Anyone else have this issue? What should we do?
