Not happy with the 3320 qda setup with mrb, 3/4 opener and v-packer for consistent depth. I've got seed stranded in dry dirt at the bounce spots
Our soils get hard and variable as seeding progresses without rain and the drill has trouble holding an even depth. As I increase down pressure to hold openers in, the drill frame starts to lift. Usually around 1500 on the gauge.
What to do? operator error, would I be doing something wrong? Is a different opener needed?
I want a drill that can cut through hard spots at the set depth, is there such a thing?
