Camper purchase advice

Looking to puchase a camper/travel trailer. Looking for a pull behind unit. Going to be pulling it behind my 2010 Chev 1/2 ton with a towing capacity of 9600lbs. We have 3 young children, so I would like a bed for each of them. So I have a few questions. Would like to be able to pull the camper 4-500km if need be.

  1. What would be the max weight I could comfortably pull, how long is too long.
  2. Should a person get a camper with the outdoor kitchen, or are they useless?
  3. Would Jack and Jack bunks be fine for 3 small children, or should they have their own bunks that they would be able to grow into.
  4. Aluminium Vs Fibreglass, is the fibreglass worth the premium
  5. Any other must haves on a trailer
  6. Any prefered brands, or ones that a person should stay away from. Are the entry level ones build quality any worse then the premium ones from the same manufacturer.
