Anyone know anyone in Southern Alberta with the expertise to plastic weld up a hole in a plastic (polyethylene, I'm pretty sure) tank? Or has done it themselves with a heat gun and some plastic filler?
Had the wheel fall off the sprayer today and when it fell over (didn't roll over thank goodness... it was right full, 1600 us gallons), a piece of the frame pushed a slit into the side of the tank. I'm hoping it can be patched up for this season at least. Been watching videos on welding plastic.
In the meantime I'm pricing out a new tank. And waiting for new spindles and bearings as the spindle sheared off.
