Was out crop checking and noticed my large green lentils are thin on my hill tops.
This is on Sandy ground. I thought maybe it was too dry but after doing some digging I find there are lots that are curled up and not going up. There is no crust, just soft fluffy soil. They are packed in good. Seeded fairly deep 2" or a bit better.
The lower ground they seem fine.
Any ideas what's causing this?
