Hooked up a dual fan Bourgault 195 to remotes 3 and 4. With the tractor parked, cold oil and no product in the tank I was able to get around 3700 r.p.m. on both fans. The Bourgault 8810 however would barely lift or lower in either remote 1 or 2. I looked at the flow settings on the valve spool. I can't remember which was which but one remote was set for maximum flow and one was set for minimum flow however they both lifted the same slow speed. One flow control is seized up and one I can turn but it doesn't appear to change the speed of lifting/lowering. Remote 3 flow control is seized. Remote 4 which I believe is the priority valve has a flow control in the cab that was unhooked. I tried to move the flow control for remote 4 down on the valve spool and it was seized up. After trying to move it for a while it started to move back and forth so I thought it was working. Started tractor up and now I only get 300 r.p.m. on the fan that's in remote 4. It appears I may have moved it to the lowest flow and now it's stuck there. Also I had to hold remote 3 and 4 levers to keep the detents from kicking out. So it this just a matter of removing the valve spools and finding a shop to rebuild it? Do I go to a wrecker and bolt on another used one? Or should a mechanic come out and troubleshoot the hydraulics before I start removing parts? This is the first time I've had hydraulic problems like this and I'm not sure what to do. thanks
