Can anyone tell me if reversible straight hammers can be used in a fine cut chopper (44 hammers) instead of winged hammers on a S670? It also has a PowerCast tailboard. I want to use straight hammers because the cost per hammer is about the same as the winged hammers but could be reversed for about twice the service life.
