I have read nothing but mixed results about the performance of the 2020 headers. Some like them, some don't, some say they work alright in cereals, some say they're crap. Since drapers are out of the question for now because of cost has anyone successfully ran late model 2020's in wheat oats or barley. I just changed to a pair of 7230 combines and never used anything for straight cut headers before except good old 1010's. I can buy 2-3 late model 35ft 2020's for the price of one decent draper. Probably be only straight cutting 1800 acres/year with the two machines at the most. The rest of my acres are either swathed, corn or sunflowers. ( I have heads for those already) I would like to try beans in the future too.
Combining cereals with a 2020 cih header?
