On our farm we havnt had sunnies since 04 and 89 prior to that so being comple. ly honest I am learning
Ok my flowers are just starting to bud, plants are healthy as can be with no noticable bug damage anywhere on the plant, I have been told at 30% flower to use lorsban, but things were looking really good until my brother cracked open a bud and there it was a short fat white worm, started looking around and they are laying eggs in about 80% of them.
So here is whats up, never used lorsban in my life, and I have already heard a few dif things.
1. Must use ground rig this early cause planes wont get the coverage
2. I can't use fungicide this early to save a pass
Here is my questions
1. Is either true?
2. Should I be using a high rate of water? How much is more so what I am asking
3. Should I use fungicide nozzles to get more coverage on the plant?
4. How is residual effected with rain cause there is plenty in the forcast so I must move quickly, of course I had to discover this yesterday afternoon after breaking a hydraulic hose on the sprayer
5. I will attach a photo of the damage and I am curious how much the yield has already been reduced
