Differences between high flow and standard rate on Patriots

I am in the market for a used 4430 with 120' booms and some sprayers that I am looking at are equipped with the low flow option.



I have looked up what the different flow rates are 2-25 gal/acre for low and 5-40 gal/acre for standard. What makes the difference between these two options, is it pump size only or is there also smaller hoses and pipes on the booms.



I would typically be spraying between 10 and 15 gals acre ,will the low flow option really limit me and would it be feasible to convert to standard flow?
