I heard a presenter today (can't recal his name) talk about the benefits of Gypsom on "high sodium" soil showed some picks from southern ab, basically white soil had been reclaimed by adding like 200lbs /acre on the affected areas, he said build up the calcium and it will allow the plants to use the sodium. (Heavy applications for 4 consecutive years)
Anyone have experience with this? This isn't the first time I have heard about this.. I think I might look at this, maybe fall applications.
