It's March and time to make that decision once again..
Gonna try a few quarters of red lentals for my first time.. Been a decade or more since my last green lental episode and it was less than four inches tall and I think every grasshopper in western Canada was there... Let's hope for better luck..
Lots of yellow peas I see going in. With a smaller mix of canola, and wheat with the majority of acres into durum
Talking with the local seed cleaners the wheat aces will be big time down, canola supplier said the same about mustard and canola acres and prices are dictating also dictaing that..
Said the peas, durum, and red lentals will be the big aces in our area..
Might have to follow the masses this year.. Some decent starting prices:)
