This is the first year for alpine liquid fertilizer for us and we're having a couple issues. First of all occasionally the pressure gauge will slowly drop after a half a mile or so. I'll lift out of the ground and shut pump off, put it in again and the pressure will go back to normal reading. This will repeat itself. The pump is being ran off a 1910 ground drive cart.
Another thing I noticed is when I go out and manually crank the pump, there will be a fair bit of alpine sprayed out of some spots on the drill and smaller amounts or nothing in other spots. If there's nothing on the ground I'll notice there is still a trickle coming out of that individual alpine tube. So application looks really inconsistent.
Filters all look good and we have already replaced pressure guage once.
