First time seeding Canola this year and I dont want to use our airseeder, i think it will be a disaster. But the discer settings only say it can seed as low as 6 1/4 lbs acre. Just wondering if anyone knows of different gearing to seed closer to 5 lbs, I was think of switching one of the gears from a 31 tooth to a 35 tooth and that should get it closer to 5 but not sure. This whole seeding Canola thing has me stressed and i might just say forget it. If the discer doesnt work i might just have to pull out the old Case press drill haha.
