This spring I bought a 2009 61' contour, 12" space, morris paired row, 5.5 semi pneumatic. So far it is doing a good job, I am running about 4.6 mph, the mud sticks to the packers more than id like, im seeding durum on "f" and 1100 lbs psi.
I dont like how much dirt is moved, the field finish is fairly rough, and id like to run faster(im already prob going too fast with these openers)
ive a fair bit of reading and searching on here, and there is lots of discussion on openers. I also noticed on kijiji there seems to be lots of paired row openers for sale.
Has anyone come to any conclusion as to what opener performs best.
I'd like to hear what you guys have tried whats failed and what stands out as doing well.
