S680 wheat concave combination

We will be starting wheat harvest here in Texas as soon as it dries out. We will be running a s670 and s680 with 635f heads. Wheat is probably 80bu, quite tall, and flat on the ground in places. Will be taking in a LOT of straw. I was thinking about running two small wire concaves in front and one large wire in back to reduce rotor losses. I'm wondering if anyone has tried this combo and how did it work out? Or would I be better off pulling every other wire on small wire concave? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
