HELP! Whats wrong!!!

We have a 2009 CIH 485 Quadtrac that is pumping oil out of the breather tube. Normally I would assume bad rings or something. However it started doing it from zero oil loss to three gallons in 1.5 hrs. All the while the engine runs smooth, seems to have normal power, and has no smoke (even at cold startup). None of these things jive with what I've seen in the past with a bad piston. We thought maybe the crankcase air filter was plugged and causing it to pressurize, but after replacing that it still is doing it. There is a weird diaphragm thing that attaches to the hose barb that the breather hose goes on. Could that be it?

Our local case dealership thinks that it might have something to do with a failed steinbauer chip that failed immediately prior to this happening. However I don't understand why they think that (they like/sell steinbauer). Something about the chip failing when the engine was under load and fuel was somehow causing something to happen blah blah blah. I don't get it. They were hoping when the chip was replaced today that this would stop......it didn't.

Any ideas guys? This thing has really got me worried and we are in the middle of frantically seeding spring wheat. (It's the only tractor we have that can pull our drill):52:
