Milo setting for JD 7000/7100

I about to start planting milo with my 7100 planter that has the low rate feed cups. My transmission is set on driver 30 tooth and driven 14 tooth. I also have the extended drilling sprocket on the transmission, which is a large diameter sprocket that lowers the rate and gives more distance between seeds. According to my low rate chart I'm at the highest rate I can plant with my sprocket combinations, with 6.2lbs per acre at 18,000 seeds per pound. That would probably be sufficient but my seed is 14,000 seeds per pound. I would like to bump up my population slightly, so can I take out the large extended drilling sprocket and put the smaller sprocket (half the diameter)in it place, to achieve a slightly higher population? TIA
