I am digging into our 760 combine that is new to me this winter and am wondering what the best setup should be for corn and soybeans. My combine has a roundbar concave and the aps preconcave segments are the 19mm by 40mm listed as a Maize segment. Is this suitable for Soybeans. Currently installing the impeller wear kit for green stems. Notice some folks recommend a rotor flow kit, is that for older machines or is this something i should consider for this machine. Also noticed that when i was removing the aps preconcave segment there was lots of material wedged at the back where segment tucks under the front of the concave. Is this normal? Looks like the bar that the segment is under is raised a bit thereby creating a bump for material to hop over to get into concave as opposed to a smooth flow. Any thoughts are appreciated.
