Anyone from Quattro Farms on this forum, or anyone using Fieldnet? This weekend all of our older pivots (and off-brand) that don't have BOSS panels all dropped off fieldnet, all within about an hour. I can reset the power to the fieldnet control box on the last tower and it will talk again for about 12 hours before disappearing again. The problem is not in the Fieldnet bridge computer, nor is it a problem with the base station radio. All of our BOSS panels are still talking just fine.
From my experience in the IT world, this smells of a botched over-the-air firmware update of some kind. It only affects the end tower box units. I can't determine if it's the radio unit itself that hangs or something in the fieldnet control box computer (the radio has its own firmware that can be updated over the air I know that much--it's a standard MaxStream radio module). Just wondering if anyone else is suddenly having problems this weekend. Going to put in a call to their technical support line, and call our dealer tomorrow morning.
Any Lindsay Fieldnet users on here with radio bridges?
