Timing on swathing green peas

Normally I just straight cut my peas . However I am think about swathing them . My barley is starting to turn pretty fast . So not sure if the peas or barley will be ready first ? And of coarse half way through the barley the winter wheat will be ready so if I do not jump on them with my saw fly pressure they will be flatter than a pancake by the time I get to them... So mainly for trying to get a jump start on them than anything.. If I had my own swather I definitly would do it . So I got to go find one to rent sure that will not be cheap... Last time I swathed was because of late weeds . I was pretty disapointed in the swather doing a better job the peas where pretty much totally dry so they where hugging ground pretty good . I have flexi fingers on my header an am allways amazes how it can get crops of the ground... Not sure if I swath them to hurry up and still standing a little early if I might get more peas that I might miss before they suck them self to the ground to counter act the rental price of swather....

And of coarse the whole proper timing of swathing them . They are pretty much all filled out some are starting to dry out pretty well starting to tast bitter....they are Argons. Thanks. For any advise Dan
