Versatile 1150 parts hunt

OK, so I finally bit the bullet after reading postings on here for years.

My story in a nutshell, I'm a 50 year old grain farmer by Grimshaw, Northern Alberta, Canada.

Professionally, up until semi-retirement about 5 years ago I was a research agronomist, mostly farm scale test plots dealing with things like zero till (of course!) and also the usual fertility, variety and pest control trials. I was lucky that my initial mentorship was under under Murray Hartman but also VERY lucky in my career that I also had huge help and mentorship by people like John Harapiak, Elston Solberg, Denise Maurice, Garry Coy, Phil Thomas to name a few. It was a great time in my life!

I'm a long time zero till convert, since 1992 actually. Cut my teeth with Haybuster 8000's actually. After those drills fell apart acquired a 58' 13" spacing FC 5000 that I was pulling with an 895 Versatile.

Since I'm out in left field anyway, according to my neighbours, I also got into stripper headers for my wheat harvest. Now when I had the Haybuster 8000 with those wonderful 20" coulters ahead of each shank, residue handling was never a problem for me.

But I was sort of at the hairy end of the 310 hp of the 895 with the 58' FC 5000. I am in the process of adding the coulters from the HB8000 to my FC 5000. But as this will take 0.75 to 1.0 hp per coulter I needed to do a tractor upgrade.

Thus where the Versatile 1150 comes into my story. I got one for, well a song and a dance last summer. 8600 hr on it for $20,000 Canadian! Added an Atom Jet hydraulic system for another $10,000 and off I went.

Now only seeding 1500 ac in total you can imagine that the tractor does not get a lot of hours on it. To make things more fun I bought a twin, but smaller 33' FC 5000 for my gf to use with the 895 (no point in selling it as it wouldn't be worth that much on the market).

So the point of the post:

Yes, I know that 1150 parts are hard to find!

I am needed:

1)the transmission clutch brake disc, Versatile part # V69016
2)a bearing, part # V84390

Any ideas where to find these? Any like Timkon #'s or cross matches??

I understand that there were a slew of 1150's sold in Australia - any idea of parts suppliers there??

The 1150 is a blast to drive, gear up and throttle back - running it at about 1750 rpm, just loafing along and ditto with the 895 now too!

Given the fact that in the remaining oh say 15 years of my grain farming career the 1150 may not even see 10,000 hr I am hopeful that it will serve me for the remainder of my life!

Cheers,

Garry
