Don't have much experience farming yet and All I've ever known is wheat and canola but would like to get into a better rotation to maybe help with disease. Everything is grown under irrigation in southern alberta.
I've been searching around on Google and haven't found much, I've noticed that lots of different crops can get sclerotia (sp) such as canola and flax? And is it even worth trying if your neighbours don't rotate or rotate very little?
So I was just wondering what works well for anyone that try's to space the rotation out? I'm trying out some faba beans this year so we will see how it works out.
